On 21 October 2008, the Arbitration Panel for In Rem Restitution recommended the restitution of two properties belonging to the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) Infrastructure Construction Corporation in close proximity to Franz-Josef railway station. The properties had already been the object of prior proceedings, however the settlement concluded in 1951 constituted an extreme injustice in line with the provisions of the General Settlement Fund Law. more
