IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS

  • Delay on Philippine Remittance on August 1, 2008
  • Non-acceptance of Philippine Passport without complementary submission of additional documents as of July 22, 2008
  • Effective August 1, 2008 new schedule of charges for particular services of PNB Tokyo and Nagoya will apply as of July 17, 2008
  • Impediment of relations with Anti-social forces as of July 1, 2008 "PNB Tokyo and Nagoya declare that a firm and resolute stand is taken against Anti-social forces which threaten the order and security of the society. PNB Tokyo and Nagoya will consistently impede and thoroughly eliminate and rule out relations with Anti-social forces and refuse to provide Anti-social forces with any base for activities."
  • Effective  April 1. 2008, PNB Tokyo has aligned in accordance to the Japan Bankers Association “ Compensation for fraudulent withdrawal” , which was announced on 19 February. 2008. PNB Tokyo will reimburse customers who have been victimized by fraudulent loss through withdrawal from their Savings Deposit Account by use of stolen passbook, in line with the Depositor Protection Law and the guideline stated in the Terms & Conditions for Deposit Account. In the case of customer's “gross negligence” or “negligence”, PNB Tokyo will discuss with the customer and handle the cases individually. Depositors' immediate notification of the incident is mandatory for receiving compensation and please inform us immediately by phone or e-mail when your passbook is stolen or lost.   • Effective April 1, 2008 PNB Tokyo and Nagoya shall assist Philippine Based Account opening via over-the-counter only.
  • Effective February 01, 2008, the following Fee Schedule shall be applied for USD to USD transactions:
    Through Deposit Account 
    Deposit (Placement) By USD cash 1.5%
    By Inward TT 0.05% (minimum 3,000 yen)
    Withdrawal By USD cash 1.5%
    By Outward TT 1.0% plus TT Commission 2,000 yen to the Philippines
    TT Commission 5,000 yen to Domestic & USA(Mainland)
    TT Commission 7,000 yen to other countries
    Being separately from the transactions through Deposit Account  
    Inward TT with payout in USD Cash (not through Deposit Account) Inward TT Handling fee 0.05% (minimum 3,000 yen)
    USD Cash Cash Handling fee 1.5%
    Remittance transaction using USD cash at over-the counter Cash handling fee 1.5%
    Handling fee 1.0%
    Remittance Commission 2,000 yen to the Philippines
    5,000 yen to USA(Mainland) and 7,000 to other countries
                                                
  • Effective January 04, 2008 , the following changes in PNB Japan's front end fees will apply:

    2,000 yen or 2,500 yen (for 3D) remittance charge only

    1.5% cash handling fee + 2,000 yen or 2,500 yen (for 3D) remittance charge

  • Please note that The One-year PAL-PNB Liberng Bagahe Promo ended on April 1, 2007
  • Effective January 4, 2007“Know Your Customer” (KYC) Law will require financial institutions to verify ID Documents of applicants for money transfers over JPY100,000 .Click here for english or japanese
  • Please be informed that effective November 22, 2006, we no longer offer Peso travelers' checks
